The Brief: Open Text is a young and energetic company and therefore wanted a very contemporary theme, which could even border on near crazy for their Annual Day celebrations. They also wanted a theme that was abstract in addition to being all of the above. Above all, they wanted their associates to have fun like never before.

The Challenge: Open text is a company with international presence and most of them had been to parties with a varied set of themes across the world. The theme here, consequently, had to be really different and involve all the associates into having fun.

The Rachnoutsav idea:Why should the celebrations be on one particular day only? And thus began an interactive 15 day pre-event activity. Each day a different set of activities was thrown open to different teams of associates. Posters, wallpapers, screensavers and colleagues playing seemingly funny games at office roused the curiosity of everyone else and people had begun to wait expectantly for the final event. And the final event was not an annual day celebration – it was a carnival with retro and fusion themes. The associates of Open Text lost themselves in the gleeful abundance of activities and entertainment. International fire juggler Wendell and Award winning playback singer Anuj were surprise elements of the evening and held the audiences in rapture with their acts.

The Result: A complete season of fun that lasted for 15 days with a fitting finale that not only bound all the associates of Open Text together as one family but also left them all eagerly awaiting the next event, needless to say, which will also be organized by Rachnoutsav.
